Element Callsign: Atlas 1
Element Leader:
Corporal Dan Maco

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Corporal Alexander Blackburn
Private Kalaekoa Gaspar

Pros:
Good medical By Atlas
Good Logi by Atlas
No deaths while undercare

Cons:
Understaffed
Given work of Atlas 3/4 for a 3 man team also doing medical
A member of D/1/B/ was in Viking 1 when Atlas was understaffed
With 2 sections SP's at the time of the Op we only had 3 with 1 in another squad.
Boxes would not let us gear up resulting in having to get zeus to give us a arsenal.
Would of been great Op for Atlas if we had the numbers.
Was hard to get a hold of Viking 7 perhaps due to acre

Pros:
Saber-1 crew and Saber Platoon as a whole performed well under fire
No shortage of fire and maneuver tasks
Entertaining mission concept
Cons:

Spotty comms on LR 20 (lost readability just by moving 100 meters in a direction)
Amount of enemies and distance to cover not suited for attendance and reasonable expected length of FTX
Poor framerate beginning the second half

Pros:
Tons of Action
Immersion was good.

Cons:
The Op was way too big for the number of people that attended which resulted in crappy frames in the middle of the Op.
Radio issues
Way too many enemy tanks spawned. Abrams is not a miracle tank. Real life Abrams fought against under trained crews and barely working T-72s. These handicaps are not reflected in the game so the way to balance this is to spawn fewer tanks or make them a little less skilled.

Pros:
  • Troopers enjoyed the mission style and premise. The scenario was something fresh and new which troopers would look to revisit.
  • Continued campaign of northern lights has brilliant thus far, allowing SPs to be tied in.
  • Good reaction to contact and use of Force multipliers.
  • Sierra smoke effective at supporting dismounts.
  • Confirmed kills of armour and mechanised contacts by troopers.
  • Determination to keep troopers alive with correct medical protocol.
  • Drone effective at spotting enemy and confirming hard targets.
Cons:
  • Main base inventory kick out glitch.
  • Lots of other glitches, some Arma related; Vehicles and wrecks flying, Unable to unload passengers, Invisible troopers still showing as unconscious.
  • Mission overall felt rushed and overextended. No real moment for consolidation or halt for medical. This left squads unable to be on line or support each other. Attacks and movement felt overzealous, more caution is needed.
  • Although Sabre were effective at engaging targets, we never fully felt like we supported each other. Felt as if we just happened to be in the same AO.
  • Troopers still cautious to mark map with important information or details on enemy positions/type.
  • UAVs bugged when re deploying and attempting to repair existing.
  • As much as they tried to be there for everyone, Atlas was heavily understaffed who are critical for success in a Bravo operation like this.
  • Overall the FTX scope felt to large to achieve in time frame. This was a similar story with the last Bravo FTX, with us never reaching subsequent objectives. Would of loved to of deployed the ambush as this is something we have been looking heavily at in SPs.

S1 Operation denied, no master list after 7 days
  1. The OIC, or a designated replacement - such as the Mission Maker, will create the AAR post, using the "AAR Template" listed below. The designated Individual must agree to this prior to the operation commencing. The designated individual needs to post the framework of the AAR within 24 hours of the end of the operation. The OIC or designated individual will have 4 days from the end of the operation to fill in the attendance and other information. S1 will process it as final after 7 days.
