Pros:
- Mission design was good.
- All Mission Objectives were completed
- Targets were well dispersed in the area
- Significantly improved comms
- Rotary flights were forced to visually IFF ground vehicles, which added to the difficulty and immersion
- Holding Area was a good addition, and allowed the entire flight to form up before beginning their tasking
- Improved organization
Cons:
- Ground Unit/Target variety should be improved
- There were times where enemy flights just popped up on datalink. If awacs is not expected to always detect enemy flights,
this should be mentioned during briefing - Unintentional Friendly fire from Python Flight
Additional Notes:
- Tankers should placed near the holding area, therein jets will be able to refuel, while they wait for tasking
- Units were very hard to see, this may have been a result of the general temperature, which resulted in the vehicles cooling down very quickly
- There should be more F-16 Ground Attack Missions
- Encourage more people to take leadership roles
