I thought having sparrow aloft to take over temp JTAC duties while Infidel was shifting (or running for his dear life down the beach while being chased by 25 goons) worked exceedingly well. The air craft were kept engaged in the battle and the goons got blown up. Even Sparrows pilot got to rocket a bunch of the bad guys at danger close. All in all, it worked very very well.
