Pros:
  • Really fun FTX with plenty for Sabre section to do
  • Leopard was fun
  • Sabre 1 and 2 crews did a great job for being from different MOS'
  • Good communication with Warhorse HQ and Viking platoon HQ

Cons:

  • Except for 1 person, total lack of 19K attendance from 3/2/B/1-7. Kind of pathetic that an FTX time at the same time as your weekly SP didn't have a better showing.
  • Did not expect to have to lead the unit, but was happy to step up
  • Resupply took a long time
  • Assault on Leviathan Station w/ V4 could have used more coordination. Got on their comms, and after initial breach, comms were forgotten. Could have been a good opportunity for tanks and infantry to work side by side.

Pro:
Alot of medical.
Engaged contacts.
Medical work balanced from last week.
Enjoyed overall by teams
Had A Atlas 2 do a extract with POW's which was a nice change as well

Cons:
Injures from armaed tank
Med Perms.
Some troopers got spilt from Atlas during contact.
Buddy teams not followed
Quite a few black tags during to armor issues
Need to use kit that is apart of our role

Pros:
  • A very good amount of medical going around during this OP. Every Atlas-2 member (except for one) got hands-on with at least 1 red cas tonight!
  • The one trooper who didn't get hands-on with casualties had a good amount of work with the .50 Cal and held security for the casualty incidents.
  • We got to do a 6-Line CASEVAC with an air asset to extract a wounded VIP/POW, which we rarely do.
  • Just generally an amazing atmosphere in the Stryker. We were singing the whole merry way. Always amazing chemistry during SP and FTXs!
  • The vehicle inventories were amazing tonight! 100% made up for the lacking starting kits! We never needed a full arsenal, and there were no complaints regarding missing items throughout the OP.
Cons:
  • Perm issues for PVT.Albright.J, that got progressively worse throughout the OP. He never died or DC'ed, but his perms slowly worsened as we progressed through the OP.
  • Lots of black tags and DOAs tonight. We've largely come to terms with this during heavy motorized/mechanized OPs. There tend to be very few casualties until something goes wrong, and then we have a lot of borderline unsavable casualties all at once. At one point, we ended up with an 8-man mas-cas due to Saber being Arma'ed, and of those 8 casualties, we saved 1.
  • One late joiner ended up a bit lost, which is bound to happen when operating in such a cluttered environment, under NODs, and during compound clearing.
An excellent way to end the DPMC cycle largely makes up for last weekend's slow session!

Pros:
  • The operation felt well planned and laid out. Going into the mission, all objectives and movements were made apparent.
  • Fast set off and initial stage.
  • Good maintained aggression throughout operation.
  • Top work from SABRE.
  • Additional members joined from overflow squad.
  • Troopers and squad thoroughly enjoyed themselves for entirety.
  • Fantastic drone work from Facklam.E allowed for brilliant spotreps and understanding of enemy movement.
  • Achieved a lot of objectives and targets in a constrained time.
Cons:
  • Arma Issues with vehicles and clipping. Halted progress within compound.
  • Framerate issues.
  • Last objective felt like an overstep due to squad numbers.
  • Narrow staging areas.
  • LR17 for convoy.
  • Enemies took a lot of rounds to go down.
This FTX is a brilliant showcase of the speed and aggression that can be achieved with a mechanised and armour element. Top work from all involved.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros
:
  • Fun FTX, good performance by Viking elements
  • Managed to keep up the pressure on the last objective after both V-6 and all of V-2's leadership went down

Cons:

  • Sadly wasn't able to be active for most of the OP due to BattlEye and being dead for 20 minutes

Specialist Highman.J

Pros:
  • Comms within element were spot on; once we got in contact with ground those comms were also spot on.
  • Good OP overall from rotary perspective.
  • Very good use of rotary, I was not bored much during the OP; we had several transport requests, and a casavac.
  • NO BENT METAL!

Cons:

  • The initial ground to air comms were lacking, and it seemed like that wasn't established from the get go.
  • Door Gunners were a bit bored.

Element Callsign: Atlas-1

Personnel Within Element:

First Lieutenant Mazinski.H
Sergeant Ewing.R
Specialist Turn.J
Pros:
  • ATLAS-1 was able to get into small skirmishes with the enemy on various occasions, while not our primary job it is always good to dabble a small bit in combat so we don't get rusty
  • Since there was a lot of down time we were able to bond with the whole team
  • While we didn't have an arsenal to modify our kit to our liking, we were given all the appropriate gear in our vehicles inventories, at no point in time were we wishing we had any specific equipment since we had everything we needed.
  • ATLAS-1 was able to provide medical aid to an enemy combatant and take them prisoner.
Cons:
  • SABRE and VIKING-1 were Arma'd, unfortunately this lead to a mas-cas with 8 people, even with ATLAS-2's fast response by the time ATLAS-1 arrived on scene there were 7 KIA. Unfortunately this is the nature of operating in a mechanized environment, you are safe in your vehicle until it becomes your iron tomb.
  • Need to stick more to buddy teams so no one is left alone while in contact.

Pros:

Solid communications with the Infidel regarding strike packages.

Cons:

Both Eagles had to bug out as we experienced significant performance issues on the server side and as such could not safely pilot the airframes.

Pros:
  • All-rounder amazing operation that was executed wonderfully.
  • The usage of Air-support is much appreciated from CAS to Infill
  • Troopers had the chance to engage in combat with enemies via CQB
Cons:
  • We had to second-guess buildings as we moved to locations, we assumed were cleared by other squads that had enemies rushing out of them.
  • Specialist White.M Got Blown up Twice.
  • Map clutter needs to be removed as new orders are given to ensure that previous orders on the map do not interfere.
