Pros:
  • Great Mission Idea
  • Carrier Landings were amazing, with only 2 casualties ( LAG )
  • Comms with LSO were Excellent
  • Overall amazing mission

Cons:

  • Pilots concerned of lag, I would investigate to make sure it's not the F-18 Mod
  • low 2nd platoon fixed wing turnout
  • some sort of AWACS or FAC to coordinate with Fixed wing elements to gather info and aid in strikes.

Pros:
Love doing a flight Medic Role. Have found alot of people are fond of doing the role or seeing it used.
Got shot down in the Blackhawk which made us have to fight our way to friendly forces to be evac'ed out.
Nice to see F-18's used.
I do hope to see more flight medic stuff being used.

Cons:
Frames was horrible at times which in term made CPL.Kastor's game crash.
Only had 2 missions and both was AI 2nd mission we crashed
spent more time on a boat waiting than we were out flying
2x small 4-5 man teams would of been a cool idea to add on perhaps at a different part of the map that the strike missions was on.
Would of been a great chance of trying out the H-60 Pack in a 2x MH-60 team with 2 flight medics on each.

Pros:
Carrier ops are a beautiful thing when done right, and they were done right.
Great performance between Hornet flight taking out ground targets.
Was legit cool to finally have the F-18 be used in such a great setting, startup and all.
I personally landed and re-armed 4 times in the pitch black.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THE F/A-18E MOD

Cons:
Frames were impossible as soon as the entire flight (including medics) flew over the land of the map. stuttering between 1-3 frames. as soon as back over the ocean for landings and whatnot frames went back to 15-20.
Low overall turnout for an OP that was signed up for.
F/A-18E startup is still new to some people, causing one pilot to launch right into the water at the start of the op.

Pros:
Carrier ops are a beautiful thing when done right, and they were done right. Carrier Ops always a win.
Good Mission design for need of UAV ISR
0 Drones shot down, 2 attempts


Cons:
2 Drones lost on start up -- had tertiary thrust switch on so they turned engines on and immediately flew off the edge of the carrier the second I would take controls :(
Despite good mission design for UAV, Deathstar wasn't utilized by aviation elements beyond initial ISR before Hornets took off. 0% communication with air assets despite attempted calls to cover the crew of a downed helicopter. Planes just did their own thing. A con proposed above requiring an AWACs or FAC to help with strikes despite having an ISR platform dedicated to them are proof of this.
