Pros:
  • Fun mission and great to see the use of an M1A2 Abrams in a WFW for the first time in a long time!
  • Lots of enemy armor targets: many enemy MBT, BTR, and enemy infantry kills; 1 Mi-24 Hind kill
  • Crew did a great job working together

Cons:
  • Sabre was disconnected and without support from infantry and air assets for the main assault
  • Atlas-3 wasn't able to repair

Pros
  • Good fireteam cohesion
  • Progress despite the confusion
  • Succession of command worked
Cons
  • General confusion due to late joining
  • ACRE issues prevented me from using LR myself
  • 2 black casualties
  • Shitty LRAS Stryker (you can't combine NVG and iron sights) only one left for us
  • Atlas wasn't at designated CCP anymore, which caused a black casualties

Pros
  • Excellent work by all elements, ground and air in dispatching of enemy vehicles
  • Everyone seemed busy and not too badly overwhelmed
  • Excellent work from Godfather patching all the holes that ArmA made, especially in the initial push.
  • Element leads were responsive on radios
Cons
  • Acre issues to start with. The issue has been identified and should be fixed in future. ✅
  • I wasn’t able to effectively manage Viking-3 and Atlas-3. Sabre-1 also fell victim to being a little disconnected from mutual support.
  • I did not effectively adjust the plan to consider the lack of CROWS on the Stryker
  • Lots of frame rate issues / disconnecting that were fairly or unfairly chalked up to the map, Rosche.
  • Needed to set better intent for Sierras after dismounting took place.

Pros
Cons
  • Reloading takes forever
  • Was being asked to do CAS when aircraft really just wasn't made to do that
  • Felt we created a bit of a hostile environment for a new recruit initially, though it sounds like it got better over time.
  • Need better CTAF
  • Need shorter radio calls/more "break"
  • 7Cav trooper got kicked out of his squad for the third week in a row despite a public player being in the same squad, Cav member should always get priority and it should not be the same people repeatedly being removed from squads

Pros:
  • Medical teams had a lot of fun
  • Striker is POG
  • Good leadership all around
  • Solid OP
Cons:
  • Server issues were common. Framerate drops, desync, slingshoting
  • Atlas 3 had many acre issues, making the whole comms situation really bad for them
  • Security of sectors could have improved.
  • No convoy net.
  • Mixed feelings about the initial plan
  • 6 got black tagged while under care

Pros
  • Tons of fun. Great mission!
  • OIC Narramoor.A did a great job delivering his intentions and briefing troopers and OIC'ing in general.
  • Really enjoyed the challenge of day and night operation.
  • Basically Non-stop stick time for me, with almost no breaks. Extremely busy with sweaty palms, barely had time for bio break.
  • Good comms with Infidel, who did a great job with coordination and much improved brevity.
  • VERY, VERY NICE to have pre-made ammo boxes and medical crates for resupply flight runs.
  • Really appreciated the call to "RESET RADIOS." This should happen more often to avoid radio problems/blackouts. It's a little bit of a drag but it's worth it. Maybe we should do this every mission right after Green Light so everybody starts out on a good foot with a good operational radio.
Cons
  • Should have had a mixture of fixed wing- Raptor with FA-18 would have been a nice balance and would have incorporated combined arms to a higher degree. Raptor is almost purely air superiority fighter, so it's quite limited. This was managed however.
  • Disappointed at the lack of Alpha Co. rotary turnout. Would have been really nice if more would have showed up. But we managed.
  • Bison crew did okay but were inexperienced with the aircraft's systems/capabilities that led to mission performance execution issues. Basically combat ineffective. As insanely nice as the new update is, it's essentially a new helicopter and a big learning curve and we are going to have to get everybody up to speed on training.
  • CTAF should ALWAYS be used while on the ground or in stationary hover. Any movement in or around airfield should be AFTER CTAF calls are made. Last night, a CTAF call was not given by BISON-1 which was close to resulting in a mid-air collision. ALWAYS CTAF. Refer to ROE #3 ("They must also have a working microphone, and be willing to coordinate over TeamSpeak"..... found here ARMA 3 ROE)
  • ENDEX means End Exercise.... it does not mean the circus comes to town. ROE is still in effect at all times and players and members should be mindful of that. Click here to read and review our Arma 3 Rules of Engagement (ROE). Violations of ROE will be closely scrutinized and ROE/GO/COC/UCMJ will be enforced to maintain our commitment to matchless high quality standards.
  • Frames got sucky and there were lag/rubberbanding issues.

Pros:
  • Wonderful CQB Opportunities
  • Infantry enjoyed it
Cons:
  • Vehicles had a harder time
  • Planning didn't take into account due to wide turning arc between phase lines Viking 1 had far more ground to cover both on the flank and forward, thus we were left to fend for ourselves a bit when other viking elements were given the go for the next phase line while we were still actively fighting through ours
  • The original plan of just rushing in down the middle to dismount with the Vehicles caused many casualties on the first wave, especially since we all got dropped off at the same barn, two MG nests had us pinned immediately
  • FPS was very rough at the beginning, though it did get better as time went on
  • Succession of leadership was a wee bit rough, which very well might have lead to the phase lines issue.
