Game One:

Location: Omaha Beach
Mission type: German Offensive
Forces: United States

Game Two:

Location: Remagen
Mission Type: German Offensive
Forces: German

Pros:

  • Strong Communication between Command and Squad Leaders. Communication between Troopers was effective in allowing Squads to properly conduct their mission.
  • Playing against another Clan has shown us things we do well: Setting up Defensive Positions, Reacting to Enemy Contact in an effective manner, and Garrison Placement.
  • As we play together our relationships continue to build and new friendships made!

Cons:

  • Playing against another Clan has shown us things we do need to work on: Having Flank Squads protect our own Flanks while also Engaging the enemy on their own.
  • Game 2 was a loss - several troopers had to leave due to outside conflicts with time constraints. This has shown us that with strong numbers we know as a clan we can do 1 full match, getting everyone to give up their time for a second match is a big ask, and we will work on getting this resolved.
  • Getting familiarized with the new maps on rotation for console is going to take time for both troopers, SL, and COC to become familiar enough to be effective in gameplay on the new maps.

Feedback/Solutions:
  • We need to prepare better at the Squad and Platoon Level To be effective in the way that we want to in matches. To resolve this new Platoon and Squad Training Plans will be implemented over the coming months to become stronger at our craft and more efficient in game like situations. FTX’s and designated roles for squads maybe something we need to look into going into the future for operations.
  • Establish Better tactics for Commanders and Squad Leaders in specific scenarios such as Warefare or a Defensive/ Offensive Game Mode.
  • Try and have squads play together in Operations to do what they have practiced in their SP’s.
  • We Play extremely well on maps we are familiar with and when we are given time to enact a plan in game, we need to use this to our advantage going forward when we play in Clan v Clan matches.
  • There was excellent communication during Game 1 but Game 2 it wasnt as effective do due having lost 2-3 squads of troopers who had to leave.

Special Note from Sergeant Buford.N:
I am proud of every single trooper who was able to attend the Operation. We conducted ourselves with Class and reflected the High level of Professionalism the 7th Cavalry expects. We can build off of our strong points and weaknesses shown to better our playing style. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to seeing you all on the Field of Battle.

MESS WITH THE HONK, YOU GET THE BONK!
