Element Callsign: Popcorn Flight
Element Leader: Private Yagi.U

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist Stalker.E

Pros:

  • Good diverse mission objectives
  • Good spacing of enemy air to keep CAP busy without overwhelming
Cons:

  • Tried to simplify coms by combining groups on the fly right before mission start which lead to to many people on one channel rendering it less than useful
  • Personal feedback: First time as flight lead, need to learn how to communicate with flight and other groups better when leading an element

Element Callsign: GRAVY
Element Leader: SPC.MacMillan.M

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
SPC.MacMillan.M
PFC.Young.K
CPL.Stone.J

Pros:
  1. Engaging mission, lots of objectives to do and everyone was busy
  2. Fancy scripting
  3. Carrier traffic was smooth and well balanced
  4. Good coordination of air to air flights (GRAVY/POPCORN - ANGRY coordination instance)

Cons:
  1. Comms were a little cluttered with 3 CAP flights on 146.
  2. Need to work on getting flight leads more organized, flight leads should brief the troopers in their element. Coordinate with other aircraft on command freq as well.
  3. Need to define and put into practice SOP regarding cross flight coordination

Element Callsign: JURY
Element Leader: COL.Lombardi.M

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
COL.Lombardi
Private First Class Ford.R

Pros:
  1. Engaging mission, lots of objectives to do and everyone was busy
  2. Felt very effective with our payloads, (4 gps guided bombs dropped relatively quickly, 4 targets destroyed)
  3. Loved the short time to objective, was long enough to form up and short enough to get into the action and be able to do two sorties.
Cons:
  1. Comms were a little cluttered with 3 CAP flights on 146.
  2. TCN for CV71 was wrong
  3. Final enemy flight seemed off balance wise
  4. Need to define and put into practice SOP regarding cross flight coordination
