Pros:
  • We were successful in our mission which was to pop the server and stress test it.
  • May have gotten a recruit or two out of it.
  • Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Cons:
  • I believe we should have pushed the Operation back two hours which we can try next time.

I'd say more admin familiarity. The map rotation and switches were a bit wonky. There was an incident with someone teamkilling and it resulted in a good bit of confusion. I think the person who reported it said he was going to come to the Discord and drop the recording.

You all showed up, had fun, and embraced the Seeding. As we continue to grow, showing up in numbers right away and playing or AFKing will make the Seed portion fly by much faster. 15 people right off the bat will allow it to snowball much faster and consistently.

    • Data Source (pulled from Battlemetrics):
    • Recommend we check this at a set frequency and base our game modes and map selections on data of what is in demand by the community.
  • Data based timing of seeding / events - use Battlemetrics or other sources to identify the time servers begin hitting their highest point. Have not been able to check if this is possible yet.
  • Have Rules auto-populate every 30 minutes, outside of manual "!rules" command.
  • Check if seed maps are triggered to be 0-2 players. As of now, when it is 0 players, it does not have a seed map until someone joins. Not a big deal, something to check over. Perhaps this is normal.
