Pros:
  • Overall fun FTX
  • Good section communication
  • Good use of battle buddies
Cons:
  • SLs use initiative to plug gaps to help out commander (Ex. left, right, rear security). Keep an eye out where other sections are, if there is a gap, fill it or coord with other SLs
  • Remember to use and update move/attack markers etc. Not only does it help troopers, but helps to let other SLs know what the other sections are doing.
  • Disappointed to be on the attacking side again, though understand the reasons why

Solids:
  • We had fantastic intra-squad comms, Charlie squad was just killing it with callouts, communication, and keeping up with orders.
  • It was an intense and blood pounding experience, everyone had a great time fighting on those tight streets
  • Artillery was just absolutely rocking it, smokes were on point and prompt and made a massive difference
  • Henson.K destroyed basically every structure he saw and then some; Palmer.N went above and beyond, being the best wingman any pointman could hope for; in his role as Medic, Litvin.D made sure no man was left behind and got me up something like 5 times, not mention everyone else; Thrawn.N was absolutely essential, smoking, backing us up, and grenading the americans into submission; Gibbs.B filled in for Lemon.D when he went down and provided valuable assistannce as a machine gunner and flanker; and of course Lemon.D sacrificed his spot in the squad to go run artillery, he saw what needed to be done and did it no questions asked.
Improvements:
  • I think we could have used more strategic flexibility, there was a moment where we had to abandon some essential gains and pull back to the main road, which I think really set us back. The courtyard north of Haltrack's route was just absolutely essential.
  • I personally could work on getting outposts up in new and strange places, giving our guys those routes and flanks makes all the difference in the world.
  • I'm a bit disappointed that we ended up on the offense again since we had been training for the defense over the past two months but personnel problems make mortals of us all.

Pros: My guys did a great job even though we had trained to play as the Allies all month to destroy the HT not defend it. There were many, many medal worthy troopers.

Cons: We were under the impression the Allies could use satchels and mines so we played very different than we would have if we had known they could not destroy the half track.

Pros: Positive engagement from both Spotter and Sniper. We were able to hold up the enemy advance in all the north, center, and southern parts of the engagement zone.

Cons: Very limited northern flank, which made it hard to find avenues around the enemy. Was also a little miscommunication on what exactly the objectives were and what constituted victory for either side.

Pros: Effective placement of defenses along the convoy path prevented forward momentum of the Axis forces. Maintained fire superiority to prevent infantry advancement and the destruction of fortifications.

Cons: Phase 3 had no preparations, no garrisons, and resulted in a chaos. Spawn killing at HQs during Phase 3.
