Lost stryker
Arma issue with Vic

Pros:
  • All troopers had fun and enjoyed themselves.
  • Hectic moments but platoon remained tactical.
  • Squad located and marked 2x Enemy HQs along with securing non combatants at aid station.
  • Effective sector markings in objectives.
  • Great initial recon before any platoon movement.
  • Solid job from squad putting into full use the tactics and subject matter from SP topics. Top CQC and MOUT performed.
  • No server or mission file crash.
  • Good initiative taken in order to adapt to objective parameters.
  • Having a CHARLIE fireteam worked brilliantly in covering whole squad lane. Rolling with the VIKING-6 Sierra gave extra security to platoon. A good demonstration of how they can be utilised whilst we build numbers towards standing up 2nd squad.
  • Immersive feel to mission file throughout.
Cons:
  • Some low frames and rubbing banding at times.
  • Vanilla thermals needed on Vehicles. Led to SABRES needing to utilise headlights.
  • Lack of IR strobe usage within platoon. IR lasers were not a suitable replacement as enemy forces also had them in use.
  • Lacking communication between squads in platoon. Could be due ACRE issues.
  • Slow movement between objectives, lost overall momentum.
  • Did not accurately report locations for ATLAS to arrive.
  • Due to the overall size of the objectives it would of been better suited to keep the SABRES on flank security. SIERRA's easily tackle town movement themselves.
  • SABRES in close proximity could utilise VIKING short ranges.

Element Callsign: Atlas-1
Element Leader: SPC.Ewing.R

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
SPC.Phillips.O
SPC.Weiss.S
SPC.Norman.B

Pros:
  • Had fun with a bit more medical
  • Adapted well
  • SPC.Phillips.O was quick to check in on his Element Leader on SR after hearing IDF, after two failed attempts due to the Element Leader and her battle buddy being deceased SPC.Weiss.S took charge immediately and kept things running smoothly
  • After Element Leader lost all medical perms the whole team did well listening to direct orders and tending to patients efficiently
Cons:
  • Lost two Sierras; one being due to odd planning and the other "ArmA'd"
  • Medical permissions issues after death for Atlas-1 Team Leader slot on TS
  • Atlas elements got a bit crowded at the end and too much patient treatment crossover.

Pros:
Good amount of work for the squad
Quick reaction times for calls
Good comms between all Atlas Elements on radio
Good reaction to contact

Cons:
Sent a stryker to space when unloading a patient
Too many troopers working on patients and refusing to leave when Atlas was on scene
Issues with medical vehicle perms not allowing team to perform full surgery to bring a patient back to full

Pros:
  • when organised, worked as an effective assault team (2nd obj)
  • Sierra worked well with minimal control and used the Mk19 very surgically in urban environment
Cons:
  • communications between fireteams non-existent
  • became combat ineffective once
  • very slow reaction to command, caused stalemates at key points
  • were never able to support V-1 in their assault with weapons because we could not organize or mobilize at all or in time
  • again fired the Stinger near saturated friendly area ( V-4 and Atlas-1 + their strykers)
  • squad showed poor understanding of pre combat inspections and pre-mount drill. also difficult getting through radio checks.

Element Leader:
Staff Sergeant Jaxson Lamb

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Corporal Karl Bane
Specialist Rod Corbin

Pros:
  • Good communication with SABRE wings
  • SABRE wings completed all objectives with minimal to no issues
  • All Enemy Armor destroyed
  • Positions and bunkers destroyed for advancing VIKING elements
  • SABRE was well established with complete sectors of fire covered
Cons:
  • One SABRE asset destroyed due to ATGM positions up on an adjacent hill
  • No driver night vision optics meaning we were constantly bumping into things
  • Blue on Blue incidents occurred between VIKING elements
  • SABRE had little effect on the overall Operation itself with members feeling they weren't really needed.
  • Proper PID resulted in a Red Cross Heilo being shot down by SABRE-3

Element Leader: Corporal Fields.Q
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist Roberts.L
Private Holland.M

Pro:
Great following orders and communication within the tank
Good crew checks after hits
Good bream firing
Good uses of jocky
Solid communication to Warhorse
Good transition of command

Con:
I as lead should have resumed command after getting back to the front
I should have slowed advance to allow infantry to clear
I should have made it more clear to the tank commanders where they needed to be.
Many troopers were late and slowed everyone down which caused disorganization
