Pros:
  • Good comms with Viking-1 and Sabre-1
  • Good reaction to contact, multiple armor kills
  • No vehicle or personnel losses
Cons:
  • No thermals for drivers
  • Indirect fire (heavy artillery) from 7 km away, right on friendly positions, causing mass cass
  • Blue on blue incidents, including a Sierra brining a house full of infantry down with Mk19
  • Disappointingly low turnout from 19K - only FOUR TANKERS and CO/PSG!

Pros:
  • Fun for ATLAS members
  • Lost of casualties to work on
  • Minimal Black Casualties
  • Carbonate Fixed / Blood Pressure Meds
  • Sick drifts in the Stryker (CPL.Ratliff.B)
Cons:
  • Permission Issues (Intermittent)
  • ATLAS was split up a lot due to tasking
  • Self-Aid / Buddy-Team Aid / Squad Aid lacking - lots of injuries not self-treated, relied on ATLAS almost exclusively
  • CCP was rushed and cramped at Batiyah
  • Mass-Cas on Batiyah was late call, black casualties upon arrival of ATLAS
  • Clearing of first bunker was not complete, enemies left behind causing loss of VIKING-7 and ATLAS members
Improves:
  • Implementation of fireteams for ATLAS
  • ATLAS members need to callout treatments being performed as well as on who the treatment is being used on

Element Callsign: Viking-5
Element Leader: Staff Sergeant Knights.Z

Pro:

  • Platoon recovered from significant injuries and MASCASs impressively quickly
  • Rapid movements and assaults into objectives
  • Good adaptation for a very chaotic environment
Con:

I'll take a lot of personal responsibility for the issues present in this FTX. I let the briefing go on a little too long, and through that mistake, I was constantly thinking about catching up on the planned timetable, and through that, I was making mistakes in terms of decision making, general procedure, etc.

  • Some blue on blue occurrences

Pros:
  • Good tempo throughout with aggressive stance on enemy positions.
  • Sierra crew performed excellently with fast executions of orders. Good utilisation of smoke cover deployed.
  • Zuesing was brilliant in creating a formed and reactive scenario around us.
  • Fun and unique environment. Made the most of the interesting map details.
  • Fast and effective work from ATLAS. On scene and attending rapidly. They have really come into there own this year.
  • Drone operation on point. Provided fast and accurate updates on enemy positions stopping us from being flanked or surpirised.
  • Good direct and indirect communications with the SABRES. Always on the correct positions or safeguarding our flanks. This demonstrates and real showing of the advancements made from working together and ironing out the creases the past few months.
  • Squad cohesion on point with orders and movements directly acted by all.
Cons:
  • More direct planning needed before and during objectives. Lacked depth in view of squad lanes and phase lines etc. This caused a bunching of assets in one area or overstepping each others positions whilst advancing.
  • Thermals needed on SIERRA drivers.
  • Highly accurate enemy IDF with only one round landing.
