Pros:

  • Great concept with the workup and initial setup
  • No tags was the milsim prestine and needs to be used more
  • Communication with no tags was increased
  • Moved slow and smooth to make sure you could hear and see everything
  • Well planned
Cons:

  • Not really a con, but just maybe incorporate more NVA at beginning and more weapons/equipment usage

Pros:
-
Very immersive environment created by S3 and well thought out operation
- Best operation I've been a part of
- Great teamwork and Commander coordinated squad movements well
- NVA took advantage of natural ambush and choke points

Cons:
-
Need to work on giving room for pilots to land and utilizing clear LZ markers
- NVA needed more fighting power to equalize game play

Element Callsign: Allies Commander
Element Leader: Major Swanson.B
7th Cavalry Personnel : N/A

Pros:

  • Masterpiece of an operation.
  • As the commander, my job was to keep reminding my little kindle (a group of kittens) of the objectives and make sure everyone stayed together. I think I did a pretty good job, but it was definitely a challenge!
  • My favorite moment was when I had to stop our march toward the next objective to regroup with a group of stragglers. EVERYBODY responded really well to the call, turned around, and went back to join the latecomers. That was a great display of teamwork!

Cons:
  • Multiple times during the operation, I tried reaching out to Mission Control for clarification but didn't receive any responses. I signed up and stepped in as commander just five minutes before the operation started, so I wasn't fully up to speed on everything. I would have appreciated a bit of support during the operation, especially when questions came up on the fly (such as the use of allied flares).

* Only played for 5 minutes with my troopers before getting killed and switched to NVA :ROFLMAO:🤦‍♂️

Pros:
  • Loved the ramp up days before
  • No tags OP are always interesting
  • Just the fun of it, it was different and a nice breath of fresh air
  • Well planned and executed
Cons:
  • None. The number of NVA at the start was OK. It was impossible to predict how fast they would kill the US. A couple more kills in the first 5 minutes would have had an exponential effect and could have changed the game quickly.

Pros:

  • Great operation one of the most fun I have been to. I hope we do these more often. Great design and implementation everyone had a lot of fun. It forced squads to work together and have good coms.
Cons:

  • Only recommendation for improvement is to start with more NVA and maybe give em limited Grenade launcher shots or let them use mines.

Pros:
  • One of the only OP's that I've attended that truly felt like it had an immersive and mil-sim aspect to it. Felt like I was actually fighting to survive the jungle due to having no respawns on the US until the end.
  • No nameplates really fit this operation perfectly and because of this operation it is something I would love to see utilized more in operations.
  • Communications in command chat were really great! I think 2-7 has gotten so much better with command comms.
  • Couldn't ask for a better squad. Everyone understood the mission and was on top of it. I never felt like we were too split up and never felt like I couldn't get something done, I could really rely on my squad and that was a great feeling.
  • The map choice was perfect for this operation's idea, whether it was night or not I think it worked extremely well with the path and objectives that were planned out.
  • I love how the operation over-all was actually very simple between the objectives and the way everything worked. Yet because of the simplicity it let you get a lot more immersed in the main point of being hunted/hunting without being too distracted by objectives.
  • Over-all used HLL:V's atmosphere and map design really well, I could honestly just keep going on and on about how good the OP was but I shall leave it here.
Not cons, just notes:
  • I think the predators should be able to use more equipment the more kills they get, mind you only on an individual bases. I.E. Better hunter? Better equipment.
  • Would of been even better if we had more people, but with the smaller turn-out we had it was still amazing. Though I actually feel like we only needed a little bit more, just to have a bit more NVA from the start. I think a full match might actually over-complicate this concept and make managing it difficult.
  • Though I would like the objectives to be simple, it would've been cool if there was more objectives to do. I feel like the US was able to progress quite quick, however that may have been down to team balance not certain. An objective before the last LZ where you have to hold a few different positions far apart at the same time might be a good addition to force the US to split up would add variety (The US only really split our forces to get the OBJ done faster but didn't have to). Having some time where the US can only work with proximity chat whether it be at the beginning or even in the middle of the OP would be cool.
  • This is definitely a huge winner of an OP and you should be proud of it, looking forward to more like this
P.S. Honestly can we just give this man a medal or reward or something for this OP?
