For the past several weeks, Coalition intelligence has tracked increased activity associated with Syria's chemical weapons program in the Damascus area. Surveillance has identified movement between known military installations south of the capital and a suspected underground storage complex in the surrounding high ground. Intelligence assesses that chemical agents, technical records, and personnel connected to the program are being consolidated ahead of an anticipated dispersal.
