Pros:
  • FTX went well. I think the larger scale worked well for this op. It was fairly chaotic at times, which made it fun.
  • Despite some hiccups early on the team meshed well and came together for the W.
Cons:
  • Comms were a bit hectic at times, but there was a lot of information to exchange

CON: Please keep platoon's together for FTXs. We have two weeks each month to mix and mingle the entire company. FTX IMO are for that over all picture which would place that emphasis on keeping platoons together.

Pros:
  • The team flexed well into supporting roles
  • Solid Comms across the board
  • Squad was still able to place baggage train nodes even under fire
Cons:
  • On the defense, we were constantly outgunned, and once the enemy established themselves inside our baggage train zone, they stayed there
  • Most of my squad came from different sections, and they felt they would have enjoyed playing with familiar faces.

Pros:
  • New dynamic using a narrower part of the map in place is good change of pace from moving all up and down the map.
    • Way to iterate: Baggage train may be exchanged for manmade (and therefore destructible) fortifications. Forbid the use of SPGs if this is done.
Cons:
  • Issue: Not enough Friendly Forces to allow for decisive density anywhere. Split between the Baggage Train, OBJ, and other locations, FF were consistently undermanned everywhere. As Armor, we were left without dismounted escort far longer than we had it.
    • Way Ahead: Narrow the scope of the match. Ignore the OBJ on paper, instead focus on destroying the Baggage Train.
  • Issue: Respawns were not close to OBJ. FF would take part or all of it, culminate due to casualties, and be overwhelmed by the counterattack.
    • Way Ahead: Allow OPs in the OBJ. This will ensure constant dynamic fighting within the OBJ instead of the back and forth all and nothing occupations of both sides.

Pros:
  • Everyone had a good time, solid kit selection, won their gunfights and had good reaction to contact.
  • Searched and destroyed enemy logistics will calm and methodical movement.
  • A fantastic initial push with speed and violence of action, won the initial gunfight.
  • Everyone had a great time in my squad!
  • Proud of the team, we went down swinging and thats a really good pro.
Cons:
  • Command comms (to me personally) were extremely cluttered which means I had to have the troopers under me repeat themselves multiple times.
  • Support was gradually lost for the offensive squads as they were recalled going towards defense of baggage train.

Pros:
  • Command coms were solid
  • Team provided constant pressure on the axis baggage train
  • Satchels were on point, often taking out multiple nodes at once
Cons:
  • No matter how many times we destroyed their nodes, we never seemed to retake center point.
No other complaints, as my squad never assaulted the center point

Pros:
  • Section did very good to keep nodes built
  • Good cycling of support role from all members
  • Great work from the new members of A/2/A/2-7
  • Great callouts from other Germans on incoming enemy flow
Cons:
  • No cons experienced by German defense (fairly straightforward for us)

Me, Myself, I

Pros:
  • I like the op and I think variations of this could be effective in spreading the combat of an operation over a wide array of miniature combat zones offering smaller units the ability to have greater effect on the outcome
  • Battle scoring was close and seemed appropriate
  • The loss of the baggage train was devastating in effect so was a nice "supply lines" cut scenario
  • overall command comms were fine, couple dicey instances, probably fixable by using multiple discord outlets for comms
  • Axis moved well for infiltration
  • some things to look at for personal improvement for platoon leading
Cons:

  • Was responsible for the allied defense of the baggage train, defense fell off the map a few times and was slow to respond in getting the rebuild completed, not winning a lot of the gun battles. Personally should have called for backup sooner
  • Felt ineffective in the zone of conflict - either getting outflanked or not able to hold a position, a little thin for defensive

Pros:
  • Squad did a great opening, got a full set of nodes, repair station, mines and three garrisons down before go live.
  • During the initial fight over mid, we communicated very effectively, took out two different supply drops from their commander, due to good call outs and positioning.
  • Guys had fun
Cons:
  • Donk should have ditched supply truck in the river, he would have then have had time to react when the midpoint were all in the wrong position in the truck and would have been able to move his OP more center to react and shift his own squad onto the critical ground more effectively. Seems like Plumber was able to get to the house overlooking the main blue road before we could get there.
  • Command comms, especially in the first 10 minutes were overwhelming for me. I basically had to take myself out of combat to get things straight, was just a marker boy at times.
  • Need to encourage my guys to use observes more frequently for tank call outs. When 3 pings are on the battlefield and command comms are in my ears, just discerning who's ping is who's is too much for me and requires a back and forth.

Pros:
  • Chaotic battle, Our squad was contesting the objective and had little idea of either baggae train state. Say this in a good way, good fights and just focused on the job
  • Simple objectives in theory led to focused troops, good fights, midddle objective was fun
Cons:

  • Unclear comms in leadership chat, to much chatter and not enough info. Hard to hear squad chat and lack of map knowledge, which may have also added to commander confusion and lack of mocing troops from one objective to another.
  • From other feedback seemed like defending baggae train was difficult for both sides, many points scored on node takedowns

Pros:
  • FTX was good and chaotic as it was intended to be! Lots of good fights as well as good use of strategies and tactics.
  • Objective based OP's are almost always well received and play out to be a lot more fun than a typical vanilla match
Cons:
  • No plan ever goes as planned unfortunately
  • Command comms seemed to lack for the better majority of the match. wasn't until about 20-30 minutes left where calls were being made and comms opened up more.
