This is a Special Event Operation, where we will be playing as Soviet forces in the Soviet-Afghan War. No mod changes are necessary.

Mission Brief: After the 103rd Guards Airborne failed to seize their objectives in the opening moves of the Panjshir V campaign, the timetables have been moved up and the 181st Pavlodar Motor Rifle Regiment will be stepping off early to assault a number of enemy towns in the lower Panjshir Valley. Leading the assault will be the hastily assembled 5th Company comprised of one full strength infantry platoon, callsign ESKI, one T-80 tank section, callsign ALAZ, and one support section, callsign VOSKOV.
Another key objective is the sucessful recovery of a platoon of the 103rd left behind in this morning's withdrawl in the city of Ovallestan. The 103rd might be willing to leave men behind, but the 181st will allow no such thing. We must recover our comrades before they are overrun.
