[ARMA3][Operation] Operation Three Days in Zaros - 02APR22 - 1600Z

  • Organiser Mazinski.H
  • Start date Date Posted:

Scenario:
The nation of Altis has been torn apart by communism! Communist sympathizers in the Altisian government and military seized power from the duly elected President and are now waging war against those still loyal to the elected government. The democratic elements of Altis have called for assistance in taking back their nation and the United States has agreed to assist.

The US plan to retake the island involves two critical parts, a large armored offensive to push back the Communist League which has cornered the Democratic forces in the East half of the island and a large scale airborne drop on the West side of the island to cut the Communist League in half and prevent the movement of supplies and manpower across the island.

Task Force Cobalt has been formed to conduct part of this drop in the area designated AIRHEAD VANDURA. Elements of Cobalt will work to establish the airhead and then work to dig in and halt all attempts made by the enemy to move through the area. Cobalt will hold Vandura until relieved by friendly armored elements breaking through to the East. The current timetable suggests that relief forces will arrive approximately 72 hours after the initial drop into Vandura.

Notes:
This operation will be run on the Tactical Realism server with a different modlist than usual. Modlist will be posted here when complete:
