Briefing
Elements of the self-proclaimed "Tembelan Free Army", an extremist group with suspected CSAT ties, have taken over the Tembelan Island resort in an unprecedented raid. Dozens of western tourists have been executed in the initial assault with particular violence being directed toward those with American citizenship. ISR has indicated that the extremists have setup a roadblock on the routes leading into the peninsula while the remaining civilians within the resort are being rounded up and held within the Tembelan Resort Hotel. Although the Tembelan Free Army has rounded up a number of hostages, no demands have been made as of yet, however, a video was released wherein two American citizens in the hotel were brutally executed.

Local Tembelan police forces have established a blocking perimeter around the peninsula, though they lack the resources necessary to deal with the situation further. Having been already stationed on Tembelan Island for training, C/1-7 has been tasked to mobilize and respond.
