US Forces have been engaged with Atlan separatists on the island of Altis for the past three months, fighting alongside Altis Armed Forces to push the separatists back and contain their forces to the southeast side of the island. With this containment complete, US Forces are now preparing for a final assault to remove them from the island for good. As part of these preparations, elements from GUNSLINGER PLATOON are being deployed around the Chalkeia region to conduct reconnaissance of enemy positions.
