Situation
Industrial Command assesses that the operational environment for ALIGN & MINE presents both economic opportunity and elevated tactical risk. Resource-rich sectors, asteroid belts, and planetary mining zones are likely to attract hostile actors including pirates, criminal organizations, and opportunistic player threats seeking to disrupt extraction or target cargo vessels. Environmental hazards such as unstable rock fractures, collision risks, and quantum interdictions remain probable throughout all phases. Friendly forces consist of a structured industrial task force composed of mining ships, cargo haulers, reconnaissance craft, and security escorts operating under unified command. Supporting assets may include medical response, repair support, and logistical reinforcement to ensure continuity of operations. Success depends on maintaining formation discipline, situational awareness, and coordinated defense throughout the area of operations.

Mission
At the designated operation start time, Industrial Task Force will deploy to the assigned mining sector in order to conduct coordinated ALIGN & MINE operations. The purpose of this mission is to establish secure mining lanes, maximize extraction and profit efficiency, maintain defensive superiority within the operational zone, and ensure safe transport of all recovered resources to refining or storage locations. This operation is intended not only to secure material gain, but also to reinforce industrial discipline, fleet cohesion, and operational readiness for future large-scale organizational deployments.

Execution
Commander's intent is to execute a disciplined, efficient, and secure industrial operation that prioritizes coordination, survivability, and sustained profitability. Operations will begin with a full muster and pre-flight readiness check where all personnel report, receive role assignments, verify ship loadouts, confirm communications, and prepare for launch. Once prepared, all vessels will align on the designated Task Force Lead and transit in organized formation to the target sector, with reconnaissance elements screening ahead and security forces establishing a protective perimeter. Upon arrival, mining units will deploy in structured lanes to identify and extract valuable resources while cargo teams coordinate collection and transfer procedures. Security forces will maintain continuous overwatch, intercept threats, and preserve operational integrity. No ship will break formation or deviate from assigned responsibilities without command authorization. Once extraction objectives are met or operational risk exceeds acceptable thresholds, cargo vessels will withdraw first under escort, followed by mining elements and rear security in a phased extraction to return all assets safely for unloading, refining, and debrief.
The task force will deploy three Assault Teams—Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie—each assigned to independently secure one of the three designated PAF sites. Upon insertion, these teams are responsible for immediate threat neutralization, rapid area control, and establishment of a defensible perimeter. Their primary objective is to ensure each site is stabilized quickly enough to allow uninterrupted follow-on industrial activity.
Once a site is secured, the Sustainment and Mining Team (Delta) will move into the operational areas to initiate extraction procedures. Delta is responsible for all mining operations, resource processing, cargo management, and logistical throughput across all three sites. Their mission is to convert secured territory into sustained output, maintaining continuous extraction efficiency while minimizing exposure time and ensuring safe transfer of materials out of the operational area.
The BARCAP Element (Echo) will operate as a mobile defensive screen over the entire AO. Their role is to maintain continuous patrol coverage, identify and intercept hostile contacts before they can engage ground elements, and provide rapid response support to any assault or sustainment team under threat. Echo functions as the outer security layer, preventing enemy reinforcement, disruption, or coordinated counteraction against the operation.

Sustainment
Sustainment for ALIGN & MINE is critical to mission endurance and operational success. All personnel are expected to deploy fully equipped with mission-essential gear including mining systems, tractor tools, repair equipment, medical supplies, fuel reserves, and adequate provisions for extended deployment. Logistics teams are responsible for maintaining cargo throughput, tracking resource loads, coordinating refuel and repair cycles, and ensuring priority support for security and mining elements. Emergency procedures will be standardized through designated operational calls for hostile contact, ship disablement, critical resource discovery, or medical emergencies. Resource preservation, equipment readiness, and disciplined supply management will directly influence operational tempo and survivability.

Command and Signal
Command and control will be maintained through a clearly defined leadership structure led by the Operation Commander, supported by designated leads for industrial operations, security, logistics, and medical response. Primary communications will be maintained through organizational voice channels with secondary communication through in-game systems as contingency. Communication discipline is mandatory; all transmissions must remain concise, operationally relevant, and formatted to clearly identify threats, navigational changes, or mission-critical updates. Contact reports should include bearing, distance, and threat type to ensure rapid response. Chain of command will be strictly followed to prevent confusion and preserve tactical cohesion across all mission phases. Comms will be done via SRS DCS.

Timeline
Operations will begin with personnel muster approximately thirty minutes prior to launch, followed by final inspections, ship readiness checks, and role confirmations. Launch will occur at designated H-Hour, with transit to the mining sector immediately following. Mining operations are expected to commence shortly after sector arrival and continue until cargo objectives are met, command directs withdrawal, or operational conditions deteriorate. Extraction and return procedures will conclude with post-operation debrief, performance evaluation, and logistical review to improve future industrial operations. Timeliness and adherence to operational pacing are essential to minimizing vulnerability windows.

Commanders Notes
ALIGN & MINE is not a casual resource run; it is a structured industrial combat-support operation where discipline determines survival and profit. Every pilot, miner, escort, and crew member contributes directly to mission success through precision, coordination, and adherence to command. Disorder creates vulnerability; alignment creates strength. This operation will demonstrate the organization's ability to function as a unified industrial machine capable of defending itself, generating profit, and sustaining long-term strategic growth. Endstate is defined by maximum resource recovery, minimal losses, full-force extraction, and maintained readiness for immediate redeployment.

Topic:

ALIGN & MINE can be framed as a coordinated industrial resource acquisition operation conducted in a potentially contested environment, where the objective is to secure, extract, and transport strategic materials while maintaining force protection and operational integrity. The mission blends elements of movement to contact, area security, and sustainment logistics, as the task force deploys into a designated sector, establishes defensive overwatch through escort elements, and conducts structured extraction of valuable resources. Mining units operate as the primary effort, supported by security forces responsible for threat deterrence and interdiction prevention, while logistics elements ensure efficient cargo handling and sustainment. The overall purpose is to maximize resource yield and organizational sustainment capability while minimizing exposure to hostile interference, culminating in a controlled withdrawal and safe recovery of all assets.
