Coalition forces (USA, UK, and Canada) are tasked with cutting off Iranian forces withdrawing north along a key desert highway corridor. After sustaining heavy losses in prior engagements, Iranian mechanized units are retreating under pressure but attempting to regroup at defensive strongholds along the route.
