The Arma Reforger Infantry School is proud to announce that we will be conducting the Basic Vehicle Course for up to 8 highly motivated individuals. The BVC is designed to introduce students to the vehicles that 1st Battalion utilizes, crew positions, crew commands, and limited convoy procedures. It is the first step towards earning your Master Gunner Badge. The class is approximately 2 hours long. There is a decent classroom portion followed by practical, hands on live fire exercises where the crew will operate a single vehicle in the gunner and driver positions. This course is the prerequisite to all Vehicle Specific Gunnery Courses.
Troopers will learn
- All crew positions that they can expect to find in any vehicle
- How to operate an armed Humvee and receive vehicle commands from a vehicle commander
- Basic theory on how vehicles operate in a formation
Student Prerequisites
- No active negative action
- Pen and paper
- ArmA Reforger installed
- Training Server modlist downloaded and installed
- Minimum of 2 students
- Maximum of 4 students per instructor up to 8 students
- Priority is given to troopers in 4/2/B/1-7
