This comprehensive workshop provides a deep dive into the core duties and responsibilities of Section Staff in 3rd Battalion. Whether you're a newly appointed Assistant Section Leader (ASL) or aiming to become a Squad Leader (SL), this session will equip you with the essential tools and understanding to succeed in your leadership role.
We'll cover:
• How to conduct Roll Calls and ICS new troopers
• Planning and executing effective and quality Section Practices (SPs)
• Using administrative tools and meeting expectations
• Mentorship, coaching, and balancing team readiness
Please Note: TLS Workshops are not official 7th Cavalry Courses and do not grant any course credit for troopers' MILPACs.
These are voluntary, supplemental sessions intended to guide and prepare future leaders through shared experience and structured input.
