The Air and Ground Cavalry School is proud to announce that we will be conducting Ground School for up to 8 highly motivated individuals. This course is designed to provide you with basic knowledge in Arma 3 aviation, for both pilot and crew roles. This class will not be in-game, as this is a strictly theory-based course it will be held in 7th Cav Discord Classroom(s).
Troopers Will Learn
- Basics of flight
- Airbase familiarization
- Radio procedures
- Aeronautical navigation
- Aircrew procedures
- Flying the traffic pattern
- Emergencies
- Graduated Basic Land Navigation [BLN]
- Graduated Basic Radio Communication [BRCC]
- No active negative action
- Pen and paper
- ArmA 3 installed with the CavPack installed and working
- Alpha Company troopers given priority slotting
- Alpha Company troopers exempt from graduation prerequisites
- If you sign up for a class and are unable to attend, please reply in this post letting us know ahead of time so we can give someone else your slot
