Operation Razorback
Last year Sweden joined NATO and soon after Russian-backed militia groups publicly assassinated their prime minister. In response, NATO has begun occupying the southeastern region. At the same time, their investigation into arms dealers sponsoring and supplying local militia/insurgency groups with soviet weapons & gear is still ongoing. Recently a 3rd failed election resulted in further unrest and discontent in and around the Stockholm area bolstering the numbers and support for these militias.
The 7th Cavalry Regiment has been tasked with peace-keeping in the Yehorivka woodlands region after intel was found suggesting local militia forces were stockpiling weapons and munitions for a drawn-out civil war.
4 Days ago Charlie Company, ACD, established a Patrol Base on a hilltop just outside the village of Trudove. After establishing ISR, they found militia forces fortifying the town of Stepne and signs of an enemy assault imminent from Trudove village.
