The Air and Ground Cavalry School is proud to announce that we will be conducting Ground School for up to 10 highly motivated individuals. This course is designed to provide you with basic aviation knowledge pertaining to the Arma 3 Area of Operations, for both pilot and aircrew roles. This class will not be in-game, as this is a strictly theory-based course.
Troopers Will Learn
- Basics of flight
- Airbase familiarization
- Radio procedures
- Aeronautical navigation
- Aircrew procedures
- Flying the traffic pattern
- Emergencies
Student Prerequisites
- Graduated Basic Land Navigation [BLN]
- Graduated Basic Radio Communication [BRCC]
- No active negative action
- Pen and paper
- ArmA 3 installed with the CavPack installed and working
Career Pathway
- Alpha Company troopers given priority slotting
- Alpha Company troopers exempt from graduation prerequisites
