Beginning on 14 January 1945 at approximately 0500 local time, a German force composed of elements of the 2nd SS Panzer division 'Das Reich' performed a semi-successful attack onto the Town of Foy, held by 2 companies of the battle hardened US 101st Airborne division. At around 0620, the german operation was complete. While successful in driving the Americans from the town itself, many of 'Das Reich's operational objectives went uncompleted due to the 101st's unexpectedly vicious resistance. Now, at around 1300 local time, forces on both sides have reconsolidated, and hostilities are likely to begin again at any moment. As the Battle of Bastogne rages on, Foy demands a clear victor, the only question that remains is…
