Pros:
  • Was able to get good amount of medical going
  • we only had one black tag for this operation under our care

Cons:
  • Troopers were moving guys that 7 was working on so why we had that one black tag
  • Troopers hovering over 7 when the show up to start working on the downed trooper
  • it takes to long for us to resupply or break contact, need to speed up this process
  • buddy teams need to make sure to bandage bleeding troopers, 7 isn't always close enough to bandage bleeds before then bleed out

Pros:
  • FTLs did good. Squad worked pretty well together
  • Had one successful handover of Helios red casualty from our care to 7. Had another where 7 reacted to get to us quick, but we could not get them stabalized while reacting to IDF.
  • Good to see effective use of enemy armor
  • Some solid fragos to react to situations that were not expected
Cons:
  • Chaotic tonight. Platoon net was hard to manage
  • A lot of down time in the op, without much contact
  • Had a new trooper get Arma'd, then had to reinsert via Buffalo. It's my opinion we should have troopers reinserted via TP when have issues such as Armaisms and DCs
  • Had buffalo doing close flyovers of convoy movements and repeatedly doing so during AAR (edit: was not aware of the tradition of giving a high five, apologies)
  • Stressful night for me, not my best work

Element Callsign: Helios-1

Corporal Mobius.T

Pros:
  • Had a nice change of pace playing a true support role tonight and practicing our other roles and responsibilities.
  • Practiced more demolition placement and calls over PLT net to relay the important message.
  • Worked closely with all elements of the PLT between rearm/repair and keep the operation moving at full strength.
  • For most of the FFF, easy communication for all parts on our end.
Cons:
  • Had a few moments where we got ARMAD with supplies, bugs and placement of things.
  • Convoy at times could've been cleaned up for spacing and control.
  • The IDF threw everything for a loop and at one point held us up as Helios trying to figure out where and what was needed and what needed priority.

Pros:
  • Great communication on the leadership level. A little cluttered, but more communication and deconfliction between squads is better than none.
  • Good load up timing, stocking the Humvees was well done.
  • Overall ambitious and fun operation!
Cons:
  • Mortars were a crunch. We spent a lot of time sitting idle while IDF was blasting our positions.
  • Low turnout in the squads could have warranted consolidating into 2 Rifle Squads instead of 3.
  • Listen to your leaders. If they tell you to do something... do it then, not later. If they tell you to stop... stop.

Pros:
  • Good mission for BANSHEE.
  • Great enter vehicle coordination.
  • Destroyed (2) T-14 MBT, (4) IFV, (4) Helicopters, and infantry as needed.
Cons:
  • Faction map markers is a pain.
  • Vehicles ended up working independent from one another on OBJ 2 and OBJ 3.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Second Lieutenant Vaughn.V
Sergeant Mendoza.R
Specialist Walker.TR

Pros:
  • 4-man squad that performed like a fully manned section! Inter-teams comms were perfect, security was perfect. Well executed the entire op.
  • Gun-2 performed vital Recon of AOI-2 that translated directly into an effective Platoon Hasty attack on the mortar and MBT positions.
  • The Platoon net was both really good and effective and a complete mess tonight. The upward trend of SL-SL communication is fantastic and trending upwards. There are too many elements on the PLT net at vital points...mid-assaults.

Cons:
  • My initial navigation of led the Platoon to the incorrect ORP position, but it turned out to be a happy little accident as the original ORP was being watched over by an MBT.
  • The Vehicle/Infantry ratio of OPFOR seemed off this evening. Perhaps it was that Banshee was too effective!
  • The OPORD briefed 2200z...but OP took place at mid-day.

kamaltabdulla

Pros:
  • GTL on net with Bradleys good
  • fire commands and control was good
  • Good security positions
  • Effectively provided support by fire to the platoon
Cons:
  • Our Bradley (with our ammo) did not stick with us at SBF position - need more careful synch so we can resupply effectively
  • Could have moved to security position faster on OBJ-1 - once shift fire was complete.
  • Carl G gunner needs to totally focus on that weapon system and be up at all times (not a rifleman) (we misssed our shot on an enemy PC coming in as QRF at OBJ 1)
    • PCCs PCIs were slow - I did not give clear direction and intent to the team leads, including which vehicle we would be mounting / loading

Pros:
  • PLT was reactive to a situation that most definitely didn't go to plan.
  • SL's were communicating and taking initiative
  • Made the movement hit time.
Cons:
  • Should of consolidated some of the squads so they had maximum numbers.
  • Spent to long taking accurate IDF being walked into our position coming off the first objective. Resulted in the platoon medics suffering a mass cass on there position.
  • 1 squad missed the pull back call and then took IDF on there location coming off the 1st objective.
  • To many additional elements on one net as a result of not having an RTO and 6 and 5 forgetting to grab back pack radios.
