The date is correct, I'm not sure how this one slipped through the cracks. That being said, the dates on this particular operation are complicated because it occurs during the following day Zulu. So this operation would be 0300Z 02OCT, but occurs at 2000PST 01OCT. If there is a different way you would like me to input the date because of this, please let me know.

I think the larger issue is the fact that the AAR was not posted near the Operation date at all. Today is currently the 15th of October. If this was held on the 1st (or 2nd depending on how you're looking at it) that is a full 2 weeks post Operation. That is well outside of the standard timeframe for AAR to be posted and then processed. S1 Operations closes and locks AAR a week after the Operation took place. Additionally, this messes up the Operations tracker, as any Operations that have been fully processed after this now need to be edited, including numerous milpacs, as we list Operations by the order in which they were attended on milpacs. S3's SOP in Operation Life Cycle - Point 13 states that AAR must be posted within 24 hours and attendance must be finalized within 7 days.

My apologies, this will not happen again. I will also follow up with the rest of my department to ensure we are all more timely with our AAR submissions going forward.

I'll take full responsibility for this as the S3 Lead. We will put procedures in place to ensure it doesn't happen again. I would ask that you please give the troopers who participated credit for this operation since this was not their fault. There may be one or two other operations out there that still need an AAR. We will be caught up by tonight and won't let it happen again.

This AAR will be denied by S1 as it has severely broken the AAR SOP. Locking this thread.
