Pros:
  • Fireteam leaders moved good in my and OIC vision.
  • Okey platoon maneuvers, but at points we lost sight of one of the squads and could not Mutual support them.

Cons:
  • More Enemy Contacts!!!
  • We had too many supports vs enemy counts, 2x Apaches, 2x Cas Black-hawks and a Bradly.
  • Predictable operation, spice it up more.
  • Work on more spacing between squads at ORP's and defensive positions, at times we would have lost multi-pal squads if indirect hit.
  • Network issues, a lot of disconnects.
  • There is a Need for recruiters on the server, when running public operation, as almost no one is at the spawn meeting new potential recruits, as we are currently losing potential new recruits that are joining mid game.
  • Issues with multipal respawn point.

Element Callsign: Gunslinger-6
Element Leader: Staff Sergeant Taylor.C
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element: Private First Class Pearl.F

Pros:
Gunslinger platoon did well maneuvering together.
Communication at the platoon level worked well.

Cons:
Initial dismount for objective Portland was not great, we were observed at dismount with IDF harassing us as we began movement.
There was little need for us to remount at Portland to maneuver to objective Rhode island
Pretty wide spread feeling of not enough contact.

Pros:
i like having a separate radio channel just for medics to the SL of the units cuts down on the platoon net calls

Cons:

barley had any medical calls only had like two people go down and need pick back up at last objective
only healed wounds like 4-6 times, not the fault of people not calling for it. it was people weren't going down

Pros:
  • Good Situational Awareness.
  • Had loads of fun.
  • Gunslinger-5 became our TC for the later half of Operation but we made due and got it to work.

Cons:
  • Wanting more Armored/Unarmored Vehicle Targets!!
  • Lots of Packet Loss issues.
  • Wished to have a 2nd Banshee to work along side.

Element Callsign: Raider-1
Element Leader: Specialist Cade.B
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist DeCann.A

Pros:
  • Good flying and communication with raider and chaos.
  • Took out a lot of OPFOR Armor to support infantry.
Cons:
  • Raider-2, who was a public player, last minute, element added, ended up being more in the way than helping.
  • AA was very accurate to a god tier level, making us lose our apache around 6 times.
  • AA was also really hard to see, very difficult to locate due to tracers not really showing up.
  • Lack of following proper OPFOR tactics, AA in BLUFOR territory? As well as up-armored AA in the disruption zone rather than the support/battle zone.
  • A LOT of server issues, over half the server disconnects, server FPS tanking a lot.

Time of Combat Mission (Zulu): 2300z
Element Callsign: Raven-1
Element Leader: Private Madlock.B
Platform(s): MH-6M
Task(s): Transport, & ISR

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
None

Pros:
  • Great communication between 6-Romeo and Raven-1.
  • Reinserts went well, thank you to all that rode with Raven for being attentive in route to the LZ and on landing.
  • Reinserts felt exciting from the pilot perspective as there were lots of AAA and manpad threats in the AO.

Cons:
  • Communications between Raven-1 and Raider callsigns were subpar, many instances occurred in which Raven would call to Raider with no response (I understand comms are hectic but it was to the extent that I frequently wondered if I was on the wrong channel or not).
  • Connection and stability issues forced Raven to RTB a multitude of times to pickup occupants that had left the helicopter midflight.
  • Additional aviation assets were introduced to the Operation prior to start and in progress, aviation callsigns were increasingly difficult to track, and the AO's airspace was oversaturated with assets that were flying inconsistent orbits.
