Planning isn't long enough; Planning isn't taken seriously. "No OpORD, No Signups." "Assets should not be 'Modern'"
"It's worth mentioning last time we did it was fought over more points."
Main issues / Primary concern: Not an artificial cap on View Distance on PC. Console is capped to 1200. "I was 500m away from California but even using a 12x Scope I couldn't see a vehicle. The game wouldn't render. If I get shot from 700m I can't return fire due to them being invisible."
Other main concern: WCS Safe zones. Can't fire mortars or other assets inside of main base.
What I'd like to see more: Longer drawn-out games with Hostile AI and natural spawns or random spawns. More open Combat with more variety of combat.
"From when I joined, I died 3 times in a matter of 5 minutes. Saw only 1 guy."
No one to push and with respawns REDFOR decided to trap BLUFOR into the MOB
"I died 5 times in the first 10m of joining. And I joined late."

No Comments were made during the AAR, everyone at the end said they had a good time.

Actions:
  • Gunslinger-4 Moved to OBJ California to setup a line of defense along the W/NW edge.
  • Gunslinger-4 Attempted to take back OBJ California after initial loss during first 10 minutes of the Operation.

Pros:
  • 7th Cav members attended.

Cons:
  • Briefing was poorly/hardly executed. The information that was "Briefed" was poorly timed/sparsely communicated to players as they joined 5-15 minutes early. Most of NATO side had little idea where/when/what was happening.
  • Official start conditions/Map Reset/ETC not properly communicated to NATO.
  • Platoon/Command leadership was non-existent for NATO leading to "Call Of Duty Chickens" mindset for most of the operation.
  • Horrible morale amongst troopers, some leaving before the hour mark quoting "Un-tolerable/Not Cav Style/Waste of time"
  • Tanks/Helicopters thrown into the mix early in the operation with very small limited teams.
  • To help Midweek Mayhem continue to grow and represent the best of 7th Cav Arma PvP, it would be beneficial to place more emphasis on the foundational planning and structure of Midweek Mayhem. This particular event led to a noticeable decline in 7th Cav player morale, which highlights an area for significant adjustment in future Midweek Mayhem events. By committing to more detailed and serious planning, we can ensure each Midweek Mayhem is a net positive for the public community/7th Cav and avoids setbacks.
  • Lower attendance/retention rate during this event.
  • Midweek Mayhem Event "Died" extremely quick after the initial hour mark.
