Element Callsign: GUNSLINGER-4
Element Leader: SPC.Hartshock.P
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
PFC.Owens.A
SPC.Sosa.C
SPC.Mack.A

Actions:
  • Gun-4 Setup Radio communications/Ammo dumps at coordinated objectives
  • Gun-4 Moved and setup a defensive posture N-N/E of the objective town Provins.
  • Gun-4 given primary on Provins, held out across multiple buildings engaging in close quarters combat.
  • Gun-4 encountered multiple enemy planted 'Trees' Two vehicles including the drivers were lost during supply runs.

Pros:
  • PVP (Great having a competitive edge and a sharper direction of action due to live players as enemy's).
  • Everyone seemed excited, engaged and participating on all fronts.
  • Relentless close quarter engagements, successful with an aggressive tempo.
  • Better supply chains compared to previous Midweek Mayhem.
  • Consistent command directions and objectives given throughout the entire operation.

Cons:
  • Communication had a couple minor frustrating moments. Allow proper time/awareness for infantry squads to complete objectives/orders before relentless follow ups minutes after original commands. (Takes time to Shoot, move, communicate)
  • Always could be more players!

OPFOR PL Callsign: Viper 6
Platoon Leader: Private First Class Macintosh.S

Pros
  1. Enjoyed having only one objective to fight over, combat was easier or faster to get too
  2. More time fighting, less time objective capturing around the map
  3. Having the Epoch 17 vs the BTR was nice, it holds more troops and more modern weaponry
  4. As mush as our vehicle didnt appreciate it, I loved the mines slowing us down.

Cons
  1. had a miscommunication on how the objective was captured, It was fixed during the match though. I thought we had to capture the neighboring bases to be able to capture the main objective
  2. I feel like we need to set up a way to do our AARs on the server or discord after the event to get more feedback, Maybe everyone sends a post to a new forum made on here.

Pros:

  • We had a pretty decent turnout, it seemed, and everyone had a good time.
  • Having one objective for us to fight over was a good call, making for some interesting fighting.
  • The modern equipment the Russians got to use was a welcome change from the norm.
  • The K17 was a fantastic call and felt like it fit the scenario better than a BTR-70.
  • Squad and Platoon leadership handled challenges well and maintained good communication.
Cons:
  • Had a miscommunication on how the objective was captured.
  • More laid-out plans and rules would have been good to see.
