Pros:
Good clear of lanes in the forest and town.
Good initiative from fire team leaders.

Cons:
We hard cleared a Town, that was way too big, it should have been cleared by a company with more then 2 infantry squads and 2 - 3 vehicles.
Some initial formation coordination could have been better, but it came with the Striker bugs.
Two troopers got stuck in the Striker as it bugged.
A lot of disconnects.

Pros
  • Effective pivot from Loki and Odin to Chaos and Bison. I think we were able to fill that support gap effectively, even without mortars.
  • Good start for me to learn how to effectively work with Bravo and the Mech Infantry. There's some challenges that come with working with Mech that you don't get working with Light Infantry or SpecOps.
  • Working with LT Hilberg was great. Being able to effectively communicate in a CAS setting is difficult and I think ours was extremely effective, especially for the first time working with him.

Cons
  • Still think that an Apache is in order, so Alpha can really stretch their legs and deliver effective and devastating CAS. Only having one to two engagements worth of munitions means that I want to be very conservative with my strikes to preserve the assets.
  • Running around chasing LT Mitsuma was not my favorite part of the night. Definitely difficult to work with the map and stay on the move. On numerous occasions, I opened my map to relate a location and a grid from Bison, and by the time I opened it again, Viking-6 was gone.

Pros:
  • While we weren't necessarily "involved" in the operation, we certainly appreciate Geki allowing us to tag along and do a trial run of our War Correspondent style pieces for the Cavalry Times.
  • This was an absolute blast to do and be a part of, we got a lot of great footage, screenshots and interviews.
  • A majority of people were very receptive of what we were doing, cracking plenty of jokes with us. We aimed to bring a little bit of levity alongside getting our footage so I hope we managed to make a few people smile while they were getting shot at.
  • As a member of 2-7, I appreciate being able to take part in another battalion's operation and seeing how they run.
Cons:
  • None at all in my eyes. Thank you again for the opportunity to take part in this in our own capacity, Geki.

Pros:
  • First time as -7, jumped into the role because it was needed. It. Was. A. Blast. I was a taxi, supply runner, base building assistant, mechanic, map marking instructor, and also the Platoon Medic.
  • Good comms with WH-6, V-6/5 and was also monitoring PLT to anticipate my movements when requested. That was the hardest part honestly, not just acting on info that I have and waiting for an order.
  • OP was very cinematic from the semi-back lines.
  • Press Corps were great and added to the RP aspect.
Cons:
  • Not a lot. Found myself work when not medic-ing. There is always stuff to do...just gotta find work!

Pros:
  • Had a good time again.
  • Glad and grateful for the folks that showed up.

Cons:
  • Task saturation for -5 with the new direction for vehicle C&C. Need to discuss how to spread these duties.
  • LOTS of bugs with Strykers that impacted step off and ability to function within the Op. One whole crew was not in a Stryker for the majority of the operation. Most problematic was a ramp bug that impacted ability to enter/exit the Stryker. The console players seemed to have a much harder time but that is anecdotal.
  • Missing key support roles until mid way through Op, adding to Con 1.
  • Incident with vehicles waking up after inactivity leading to a WTF moment for Helios.

Pros
  • Crew performance and cohesion was excellent. Huge shout out to Lt. Hilberg for stepping into the role as Co-pilot. Pvt. King and the Lieutenant's coordination for calls for fire was invaluable and a great learning experience.
  • The entire crew expresses they had a great time and felt we made a significant impact to the mission with the role pivoted to CAS to fill support gaps made by lack of ODIN teams.
  • Crew provided excellent ISR and trigger discipline was on point resulting in ZERO friendly fire incidents and minimal collateral damage... on an unrelated note who do we speak to about re-sodding some poor guy's front yard?
  • BISON-1 and CHAOS-1 had great success during the operation locating and destroying 4x mortars, at least 4x BTR-70's, approximately 6x K-4386's, countless infantry, and (due to a fun bug causing rockets to not register following a disconnection) assisted in the locating and destruction of 2x K-17's attempting to flank friendly forces.
  • Press crews were a pleasure to have during the operation. I hope they got some great content and choose to exclude a certain pilot running around in his underwear attempting to get his gear sorted out prior to step-off.

Cons
  • Disconnection and following bug where rocket strikes did not register until a new aircraft was obtained. This caused a failed attack run that could have resulted in enemy armor inflicting massive casualties to friendly ground forces had info not been properly relayed and reacted to in time thanks to Lt. Hilberg and Pvt. King coordinating as effectively as they had.

Pros:
  • Helios handled the tasking for two squads with 3 troopers

Cons:
  • Needed ability to build radio sites with construction truck and/or just build them with command tents daisy Chain for better communication.
  • MOB needs supply to be able to facilitate supply runs.
