Vietnam Service Device

I feel like I shouldn't have to even bring this up seeings how this is an army milsim group and the army loves handing out ribbons and devices for pretty much anything, but we have a uniform device for world war 2 campaign, how about we add the one for vietnam since we have been hosting vietnam ops again (yeah, ive seen the videos from years ago and im super jelly). In fact, I think it would be a good addition to all uniforms if we could include devices from different conflicts including the Korean war, desert storm, iraqi freedom, etc... since all these campaigns could realistically be simulated on arma. Anyways, where do i make a formal request for that?

To be fair we have both a WWII Service medal (Awarded for 5 Ops in the now-defunct Post Scriptum AO) and a Vietnam Service Medal (Awarded for 5 Ops in the now defunct ARMA 3 ACV AO). As such neither medal is awarded any longer nor has been for a long time since we don’t support those Games any longer.

We don’t currently have medals for thematic operations save the special D-Day Commemorative one that was released for the anniversary Op.

We brought up bringing back the vietnam service ribbon for any future praire fire ops at the last csc, which is still being considered by genn staff.

The Iraq medal is not one for gaming, We use it for those whom served in the campaign RL.

Not that it matters since it’s Gen staff decision, however I would at least like to toss my support out for having the Vietnam ribbon brought back for special events now that Prairie fire is here. We have a couple other awards I believe that aren’t used anymore that I’m sure could be focused on the new Vietnam content such as LRRP and SF tabs, pathfinder badge, and the Black Ops unit citation, if there was enough interest from the guys to focus on Vietnam again.

I think the Vietnam and World War Two service ribbon should be awarded the ones that aren’t awarded anymore you mentioned. The ribbon is already made. Any World War Two operations in Arma 3 should count towards the WW2 ribbon and likewise for Vietnam operations and the Vietnam ribbon. There is no reason, especially since they’re already made that a small wiki change could not be added and make it so.
