Pros:
Great formation work, amazing use of line formation in the squad
Great long range and in-squad communications
Good use of react to contact
Fun overall experience

Cons:
Buffalo flying a bit too far north causing FPS issues due to extra spawns
Didn't have proper buddy teams in squad leading to a couple casualties missed
Mass casualty incident early on hurt
Recommend splitting assets for smaller objectives
Reinserts could use a bit more clarity

Pros
We all had radios, we communicated
We split up for a while to help Gunslinger 1/3
We responded to all calls as fast as possible

Cons
At the first call, the AO still had enemies and six injured(Uncon) players
We had a miscommunication with one of the Uncon patients. But survived.
Some of the AO were active while we arrive, some members got injured

Element Callsign: Gunslinger-5

Pros:

Great violence of action from all sections
Great Platoon level comms
Good leadership synergy

Cons:
Should have split platoon for smaller OBJs
No platoon level private comms made it hard to discuss actions off platoon net
Unprofessional start to the operation while in briefing

Pros:
  • Fun Operation. Buffalo-1 element was properly and nicely utilized.
  • Good concept behind mission design.
  • Connelly.M is obviously a great Crew Chief and really executes that role well. Good Crew Chiefs (and DG's and CP's) -- they are worth their weight in gold to the aircraft, and the aircraft Pilot in Command, in dynamic, rapidly evolving combat situations. Ultra teamwork, great job there.
  • Always nice to be utilized as much as possible and we really loved and appreciated the call-ins for CAS gun runs. Very loud BRRRT, but super fun.

Cons:
  • So as I am my own best critic, this was not my personal best for flying (i.e. IRL Lisfranc foot fracture/surgery with the huge boot, is HARD when I am actually flying with foot pedals). And as Alpha exists to serve/support the ground elements, I really hate when I fall short.
  • Buffalo-1 did stray North due to confliction in some CTAB keybinds with my Warthog joystick which led to a partial loss of SA which is exactly how that happened. Everyday is a school day and I think most of us are still kinda getting used to the way this Liberation Mission Build. I know I am. I must say in our own defense, this map is so cluttered Buffalo-1 was doing EXTREME hard right/left banks to remain on HA station and outside of "red" areas. In fact sometimes we were flying at 45-60 degree bank angles at very high speeds just to keep our orbits tight. It was very tight.
  • Felt like things could got off to a better start at briefing level, with more developed operational briefing.
  • Conflicting aviation callsigns. Grizzly is the Chinook and Raven is the transport little bird and a slotting issue occurred here. This sort of led to confusion in CTAF COMMS and Blufor tracker issues and SA in general. Per the ROE, re-slot so slot fidelity is properly maintained and you are genuinely playing your properly designated role.

Pros:
  • Brilliant squad cohesion allowed for overly effective SBF and movement through objectives.
  • All troopers on point in regards to spotreps and supressing fire.
  • Lots of rounds expended all self replenish from vehicle loadouts.
  • Fireteams and fireteam leaders took great initiative in finding the best concealed positions and tactics when taking objectives.
  • Large mobility led to a fast paced mission.
  • Good times had by all, mission was smooth but still challenging.
  • Returning players to WFW.
  • 5-6-7 were all excellent and kept up the pace throughout.
  • All troopers enjoyed the Everon map and its was a fresh AO. A walk down memory lane.
Cons:
  • People left behind at ATLAS to be attended to, unaware of movement of squad.
  • Rubber banding causing vehicle collisions.
