Might of been something unofficial that a bunch of members played but nothing supported by enlistment into.

This would of been back in the late 90s to mid 2000s when the game was at its peak

In that case Def nope the Cav did not start up till late 2002 and even then I think It was only COD at the time. Those records I don't think made it past 2008
