Mission Summary:
Note:
Given the previous attack on Beslan, where a SEAD Package constituting several F-18s and F-16s successfully attacked a SA-5 Gammon SAM Site, a second attack was authorized on a SA-10 at Mineralnye. And that is where the mission began.

While A-10s, Av-8s, Viggens and Various Rotary Elements cleared Beslan of remaining ground assets
Several F-18 and F-16 Flights pushed towards Mineralnye to attack a SA-10 Site that had been remotely disabled mere hours before the start of the operation

Challenge Rolls:
Rolled to see how many planes should be spawned from each airfield

  • Krymsk Number of Planes 3
  • Krasnodar_Pashkovsky Number of Planes 6
  • Maykop_Khanskaya Number of Planes 11

Pros:
  • Mission was well received, and was not too stressful.
  • SEAD/CAP flight planned and executed their mission.
  • Several Pilots took Critical Damage, and were able to land successfully.
  • Improved Comms between all frames within the SEAD package.

Cons:
  • Mission was not stressful
  • Insufficient air targets to engage.
  • The Ground Units were easily dealt with

Additional Notes:

  • Improve visibility of comms that are in use.
