Pros:

  • Okay amount of contacts. we always like more.
  • Cheap shot from behind, good 360 test.
  • Fun squad.
  • Great fire team leaders.

Cons:

  • Mission had a bit too big of a scope for walking, time and place for walking, reduction of scope or use of vehicles.
  • Under utilized because of the walking.
  • Too far from friendly and we felt isolated, not apart of the platoon at times, not in mutual support.
  • Squad needs work on our 360 security.
  • More fire team bounding, i as squad leader felt too stressed at times to bound.
  • Platoon movement between squads needs more coordination. we felt that there was a lack of effective maneuvers from time to time.

Pros:
  • Good opportunity to practice infantry fundamentals (formations, movement, reaction-to-contact).
  • When medical was needed, it was performed efficiently, with at least one instance of us treating a casualty before a report could even be sent up the CoC to -7.
  • Good reaction to IDF from our team.
  • A textbook reaction-to-contact, I love to see infantry fundamentals utilized so effectively.
  • An excellent succession of command with the 2IC taking over the team and TL taking over the role of -7 when they were lost.
  • Excellent mission concept, simple foot patrols are something we rarely see these days.
  • We loved the Zeus interactions, with CIVPOP and GREENFOR being in play and variables. A very nice change from the shoot-on-sight practice of other OPs and the public server.

Cons:
  • One black tag during the one-life. This is always a Con, but especially so during a one-life.
  • Aside from the single MASCAS, fairly low medical volume.
  • A definite "dog-piling" effect on casualties; this is a symptom of everyone trying to get some medical done during a particularly low-volume OP.
  • Casualties caused by IDF were not moved off of the IDF splash. It would have been disastrous had follow-up fire missions happened.
