Mission Summary:
During the previous mission, NATO forces had been made aware of a new SAM site, and when they were informed that an enemy commander would be visiting the premise, an attack was ordered on the site. The operation was partially successful, in that Bluefor was able to neutralize the major SAM threats in the area, however the enemy commander was able to make it out alive.

This mission continued the story. Once again, high command received information from an field intelligence officer. Alerting us that the commander had ordered the remaining SAM sites to be packaged. And that said supplies had been divided into multiple convoys. That were being sent back to Maykop.
However before more information could be shared, said officer was captured.

As such, given the information that was shared, several flights were dispatched to assist in finding and destroying the convoys. They were given a large amount of land to search, but with the assistance of several flights of F/A-18s, AH-64s and F-16s. NATO forces were able to locate and destroy 2 convoys.

In the meantime, several AH-64D took part in a secondary mission, which entailed trailing a convoy, as they made their way back to their base. High Command had received intel, that the intelligence officer was being held at that location. By utilizing the jungle terrain to mask them, the AH-64s were able to trail the convoy back to their base. After which they eliminated all enemy forces, allowing for the rescue of the prisoner.

With his release, the prisoner was able to relay the remaining information to high command, after which we were able to confirm the existance of one last convoy, that was still enroute to Maykop. Said Convoy had departed significantly earlier. Sadly we were not able to destroy this convoy in time, and it was able to successfully reach the Maykop region.
