Hello, I'm under a different name, different email, different age, and more importantly, different frame of mind.

My name Is Justin, AKA to those who might remember my name DD. Angelos, G. I joined the 7th Cavalry in 2012 when the rules then were an ability to join whilst being sponsored by an officer, essentially vouching for the individual and such. My Sponsor was at the time, MAJ. Aviles, May he Rest Well. After a while I joined the Recruiting Department, became a Section Leader, Platoon Leader for Battlefield 3 (helping to write most of the training doctrine for that game, Became one of the first MEPS Instructors as well as a DI for the 7th Cavalry back when Call of Duty:4 Modern Warfare was still an active game within the 7th Cav, let alone as a normal game. I made a lot of friends here, loved all of my time here, and willingly accepted my Discharge once the rules of membership happened, making my membership with the 7th Cavalry null and void.

I have a VAC ban from August 28th, 2012 on my steam profile due to an issue that occurred during an unfortunate accident of an updated CD Icon for MW2, that got 12,000+ people banned via VAC ban and Steam refuses to overturn this ban even though it was a fault on their end. I instead received 2 free copies of Left 4 Dead 2 and an apology for the "inconvenience". Again, I do not mind this removal of membership and fully support it, as it was within the rules of the Clan.
Several months afterwards, I linked up with some old friends that were in 7Cav with me. We created a clan together to play WarThunder called the 72nd Liberation Front (I to this day don't understand that name, I had no input on it.) and was then met with some hostility from 7Cav clan that I completely understand now knowing what I know about the people I called friends. I emphasize "called" as I have not talked with the people involved with that group in over four years now and have condemned them for what they did behind the scenes.

I would like to know if it would be possible to either stage a time to speak with those in charge on overturning this, and possibly reconcile and apologize for what I have done previously. If not, I will gladly remove myself from this platform, and simply let the past stay there. I miss the 7th Cavalry Regiment very much, most if not all of what's left of my memory is good memories from being inside this Brotherhood. I hope we at least can return to being friendly towards each other.

Much Love and Respect,
MFDViking, aka DD.Angelos, G.

Hey, Angelos. The good news is, we now have a 5 year statute of limitations on VAC bans. That isn't to say that I can assure or even guess what the ruling on your specific case would be, but I would suggest PMing GOA Chance, General Jarvis and CSM Nexhex directly to discuss it with them and garner their consideration.
