Pros:
  • Great Wingman & JTAC.
  • Engaged & destroyed x4 MiG-29, x2 T-50.

Cons:
  • Too many CAS assets for OP scope (x1 Raider + x2 Eagle for major city w/ civilians present).
  • Anticipated Armoured QRF only arrived 30 seconds before ENDEX.
  • Zero CAS requests for EAGLE Flight.

Pros:
  • n/a

Cons:
  • OPORD/Mission intent stated heavy QRF, which never materialised
  • Mission ROE restricted us from engaging/defending ourselves from AA, engage only on Type 1 via Infidel-1
  • Those Type-1 on AA where strictly limited to guns only, forcing us into range of taking fire. Wasn't logical
  • Had 2x Type-1 engagements throughout the 2 hour Op (within the first 10m)
  • Asset selection could be improved

Pros:
  • Very good work by FTLs (Couvillion, Crapachi) and the rest of the squad
  • Great MOUT movement, good CQB
  • Intense enemy presence
  • Hard pushes despite casualties

Cons:
  • Lack of immediate cooperation with other squads
  • Lost Sierra very soon, thankfully crew dismounted and continued on foot
  • Delays caused by waiting for supplies and NVGs (mission planning did not consider requirement, but then again it's a nice thing for ATLAS to do)

Pros:
  • The urban combat elements were well put together and challenging.
Cons:
  • ROE was illogical and punishing to air elements, not allowing them to defend themselves appropriately.
  • Expecations for QRF were very high but were barely used. Resulting in effectively air assets doing mostly nothing.

Pros:
  • Nice medical work
  • Good op for Atlas
Cons:
  • We were called to medical care for two reds, but both were already blacks even before the call.
  • There was a certain mess in the movement of the Gunslingers at the beginning of the operation, it messed up the medical arrival in the OZ

Pros:
  • High squad cohesion despite chaotic environment.
  • Was a good showcase and execution of intense MOUT work. Troopers enjoyed the grinding aspect and the hard work needed.
  • All troopers enjoyed challenge and had a lot of fun in the process.
  • High spirits from troopers despite overwhelming odds.
  • Brilliant organisation allowed squad to have a clear and concise understanding of map and there location in what can be a confusing environment.
  • Textbook communications allowed orders and movement to be executed quickly.
  • Strong leadership from all roles.
  • Unbelievable work from 7 and Atlas assets once again.
  • Despite intensity, long range comms stayed clear and concise.
  • No respite meant for wits needing to be kept at all time.
  • Successful kept sierra till the end of the mission whilst utilising support.
  • Continuation of last weeks location.
  • The mission achieved exactly what was set out, a hard and dangerous environment which we eventually overcame. A good send off for what has been a brilliant NapfIsland campaign.
Cons:
  • The limitations of CUP buildings and the enemy within has the same issues of AI phasing through walls and shooting through doors etc.
  • 40mm retention inside an urban environment.
  • Internal squad blue on blue moment.
  • No medical resupplies meant scrounging for bandages.
  • No shows for important leadership positions puts more pressure on platoon.
