Game One:

Location: Sainte-Mere-Eglise
Mission type: Offensive
Forces: Cav. v Cav.

Game Two:

Location: Utah Beach
Mission Type: Offensive
Forces: German

Pros:
  • Good Squad Level Communication and Teamwork
  • Good Trooper Level Communication and Teamwork
  • Game 1: Team 2 Defended the last objective Fiercely.
  • Game 1: Team 1 Good Squad Maneuvering to outflank enemy objective.
  • Game 2: Action Filled to the very end. the 7th Cav held the second objective to win the game!
  • Game 2: Good Garrison Placement.
  • Game 2: Excellent Engineering and Supplies placement.
  • Both Games were a lot of Fun!

Cons:
  • Trouble getting into the first game to play Cav. v Cav.
    • Need more organization when switching teams, follow proper SOP for joining public servers on console.
  • Fog of war tended to make communication and call outs at trooper/ squad level confusing.
  • Needed more enemy location pings by SL and Command.
  • Troopers tended to speak over each other, difficult to hear some commands/ communications well.

Feedback/Solutions:
  • Cav. v Cav. can sometimes be a challenge or may not feel like we are all playing together for one goal.
    • Doing this helps us learn from one another and lets us implement strategies and plans that have been practiced during SP in game to see how they work.
  • Make Trooper/ Squad Level SOP for in game communication to be more clear, precise, and well understood among all Troopers.
  • When Overwhelmingly winning a game, do something to help the game last longer.
    • ie: allow the opposing team to capture an objective on the offensive game mode to make the game last longer, have troopers switch teams to assist.
  • Make sure everyone attending OP knows procedure and the organization of getting everyone in game so we are all on the same page.

MESS WITH THE HONK, YOU GET THE BONK!
