Operation Intel:

Location: Carentan
Mission Type: Warfare
Forces: AXIS

Mission Outcome: Loss

Pros:

  • Testing Platoon tactics is fun but needs work
  • Comms on all levels are getting much better
  • Pings and Intel were clean and effective
  • Wedge formation (Platoon) works well moving through Open areas and forests

Cons:
  • Wedge formation suffers in dense urban maps like Carentan
  • Platoon wide tactics may not be effective for HLL public games
  • Troopers letting go to quickly when they are downed, not giving medics a chance
  • To many assaulting elements in squads, troopers need to fill the roles of support, engineer, and medic
Feedback/Solutions:
  • Host Platoon wide practices
  • Learn and test other platoon / multi squad tactics
  • Train on rally points and how to get back in formation

Special note for B/ACD Troopers!
