Operation Intel:
- Location: Hurtgen forest
- Game Mode: Warfare
- Faction: US
- Result: LOSS
Pros:
- Team co-ordinated well.
- Tank Crews were extremely effective.
- Ememy Infantry and Armor Locations were called out well.
- Pings are being used more, but still require more consistent.
- Early game was strong with all 8 garrisons up and running after mid obj was captured for the first time.
- A lengthy fight for the Siegfried was hard fought by all squads with the objective changing hands multiple times over 30 minutes.
- A well played air head flank helped us secure the Siegfried Line and push on Jacobs barn.
Cons:
- Communications glitch plagued the last 20 minutes of the game.
- We are looking at setting up a procedure for when something like this happens again.
- Enemy artillery was at times extremely effective and unrelenting.
- Need to set up a procedure / battle plan to attack enemy arty when the situation calls for it. (Recon Squads?)
- A few troopers were noted abandoning their squads even after squad leaders ordered them back.
- Actions like these will be reviewed and may result in disciplinary consequences.
- It is every Troopers duty to stick with their squad and follow the SL's orders to the best of their ability
- Over confidence in our attack led to a lack defense capabilities, allowing the enemy to get behind our lines removing multiple fall back garrisons. Hindering any chance of coming back once the middle objective was lost.
Hold your heads high, We may have lost the battle, but you all fought hard out there. We will get them next week 2/SP/ACD!
