When slots conflict, we need to refer to the slot priority list in S3 Operations - Operation Attendance. The priority list uses three distinct criteria to determine who has priority for slotting. First is if/when the trooper signed up (although when is only used when two troopers are exactly the same in both of the following criterias), second is correct MOS, and third is qualification for the slot. The Platoon-6 slot, while having no MOS requirements, still has a qualification requirement. Referring to S3 Operations - Operation Roles & Responsibilities "While actual officers or senior NCO billets would be preferred and receive priority for those roles in operations, rank or primary leadership billet are not a requirement to be an OIC." Going back to the priority list, a trooper who signed up and is qualified for the slot has 1st priority over someone who signed up for the slot and isn't qualified. While all of this may seem buerecratic, it still helps resolve slot conflicts without bias as these standards are expected to be maintained for all operations.

With this in mind, the roles will be swapped to allow for Tharen to take the Platoon-6 role. Gann will be shifted down to Gunslinger-1 and Abate will be shifted down to Gunslinger-2 as Gann had Gunslinger-1 as his backup leadership slot.

If no Crew Chief is available, I will take that role as Alpha Co. prefers Pilot > Crew Chief > Door Gunner > Co-pilot. It would be nice to have a few fully crewed birds.
