Pros:
  • Squad punched way above its weight in terms of effects for its size.
  • Fantastic SBF positions and solid plan from Hilberg. I was tracking where I was needed and what needed to be done during all phases of the operation.
  • Rolled up on a checkpoint as the lead element of the convoy, got my trucks on line and suppressed while a squad conducted a strike right. I was a thing of beauty that we should execute on more often.
  • Good usage of TRPs and fire commands from the gun team leaders /AGs.

Cons:
  • A plethora of map markers on our positions from the AI.

Element Callsign: Bandit - 5
Element Leader: Sergeant Giordano.C
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • Operation was a lot of fun
  • Predesignated targets allowed for quick and effective fires, no blue on blue!
  • All elements kept vehicles to limit need for resupply runs in the field
Cons:
  • Personally still unsure of the entirety that the 5 role plays

Sustains:
  • Movement, fireteam cohesion, violence of action, Reaction to contact, Movement to contact and CQB
  • Radio Comms on Platoon Net on Point tonight, great squad to squad communication
  • All troopers enjoyed the operation. Great job to S3 and the GM's, and great leadership tonight from 5, 6R and 6. Well done everyone.
  • Helios and 7 got it done tonight, great job gents!
Improves:
  • Lane encroachment was a minor issue tonight due to limitations of the terrain.
  • On the receiving end of one blue on blue.
  • Pace of action often lead to B2 being slightly over extended, however B4 was on point and provided mutual support to allow us to complete our objectives

Element Callsign: Raven-1
Element Leader: Specialist Coner.J

Pros:
  • Comms with 6R we on point, Johnson was always keeping Raven updated with new LZ's as they opened.
Cons:
  • Got Arma'd by the Raven, I tried to set the bird down so that I could give grid coords for a fire mission, with full collective down, the bird drifted forward and lost the main rotor blades to a rock. Thankfully I was recovered by 5. who escorted me back to Blufors position.

Pros:
  • We cleared through the first objective hastily.
  • The team worked well together
  • Good work and communication with other squads (Clegg)
Cons:
  • A trooper had a game glitch that resulted half of Alpha to die from a car crash on initial entry.
  • Unfortunately the AO lacked contacts due to our superior heavy weapons teams when we swept through.
  • Some points felt very cramped with a section clear
  • It would be more effective for some troopers to stay within the same lane across the board (always having X team on a southern clear pattern). We crossed lanes multiple times which potentially took away targets from other groups and same with ours.
