The Airborne School is proud to announce we will be conducting the Basic Air Assault Course for up to 8 highly motivated individuals. The BAAC is focused on the basics of loading and unloading from the UH-60 and CH-47 in base and field conditions, including the hot landing zone. The class is approximately 120 minutes (2 hours) long. There is a classroom portion followed by dry walk-through's and then live inserts into hot and cold LZ's.
Troopers Will Learn
- Theory, including capabilities, terminology, safety around aircraft and commands
- Loading at base
- Unloading at a cold LZ
- Unloading at a hot LZ
- Loading at a PZ
- Graduated Basic Land Navigation [BLN]
- Graduated Basic Individual Training [BIT]
- Graduated Basic Radio Communication Course [BRCC]
- No active negative action
- Pen and paper
- ArmA 3 installed with the CavPack installed and working

- 11B paratroopers given priority slotting
- 11B paratroopers exempt from graduation prerequisites
