Welcome to Colombia!
The Colombian cartel has publicly announced their intentions to perform a coup d'état and take over the country of Colombia. Civilians are joining the cartel as soldiers in big numbers out of fear of becoming enslaved by the cartel if the takeover were to be successful.
The 7th Cavalry is being deployed on a campaign to help the Colombian president prevent this takeover from ever happening. Our first task in this campaign is a Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO). We are to extract any US citizens from their hotels or residences and safely evacuate them out of Colombia. Doing so will eliminate the possibility of any US citizens becoming casualties or hostages in this conflict.
The local authorities are currently still on our side, but they too are fearing for their lives in case of a successful takeover by the cartel. Rightfully so, many of the local authorities are also considering switching sides to ensure their own safety. With that said, don't expect local authorities to be trustworthy.
