Operation Zero Hour
In the rugged mountains of eastern Afghanistan, the once-hopeful efforts of American Provincial Reconstruction Teams were devastated by a sudden surge of violence. Insurgents, now equipped with advanced weaponry supplied covertly by the Russians, ramped up their attacks, turning villages that were once centers of reconstruction into scenes of chaos. The PRTs, whose vital work included rebuilding schools and infrastructure, found themselves unable to carry out their missions as frequent and deadly ambushes forced them to remain within their bases for protection. In response to this escalating threat, the 7th Cavalry Regiment alongside the 29th Infantry Division has been tasked with deploying a Stryker platoon to the region.
