2024 1st Battalion Observation of the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment Memorial Day
Saturday, 24 August 2024, 1500z (1100 Eastern US)
Please join us as we come together as a Brotherhood to remember those who have left us behind and to honor their memory. Please set aside time this Saturday, 24 August 2024 at 1500 Zulu (1100 Eastern) in-game and on TeamSpeak for a short ceremony of remembrance. Anyone who wishes to speak and share memories or thoughts for the departed are welcome to do so.
The ceremony will include:
- Brief introduction
- Remarks and remembrances
- An observed moment of silence
- Missing-man formation fly-over courtesy of 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 1-7.
- Socialize while saluting our lost-but-never-forgotten brothers.
If you wish to become a speaker at the event, or if you would like to know how else you could participate to support the event, please reach out to Major Highman.J, A/1-7.
Per Battalion Commander, attending this event as a guest or as a staff member will count as SP credit for the Cav Week Ending 30AUG24.
